Florence M. Knoepfler

Knoepfler, Florence “Flo” M., passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on September 8, 2026, at the age of 97. She was born on December 2, 1928, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Emil and Clara (nee Fay) Windholtz.

Flo is survived by her loving children Dr. Dennis (Carole) Knoepfler, Nancy (Robert) Waterfield, and Linda (Robert) Bicknell. Cherished mother-in-law of Ray Witteride. Beloved grandmother of Jennifer (Ed) Woodyard, Mark (Valya) Witteride, Kenton, Stephen (Pavithra), and Matthew (Danielle) Knoepfler, Bryan (Elizabeth) and Chris (Anya) Hoffman, Melissa Pflum and Michele (Matt) Greene. Treasured great-grandmother of 23 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Richard Windholtz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Flo is preceded in passing by her devoted husband of 56 years, Irvin Henry Knoepfler, her daughter Diana Witteride, son-in-law David Pflum, and her 11 siblings.

Visitation will be held at St. Martin of Tours Parish, 3720 St Martins Pl, on THURSDAY, September 17, 2026 at 9:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM.
