Elizabeth Ann Kernan

KERNAN, Elizabeth (nee Betty Ann Cappel). Died Friday, May 11, 2012, at age 78. Survived by her children, Kathleen (Melvin) Bedree and Brian (Anne) Kernan and her grandchildren, Joseph, Samuel and Helen Bedree and Michael and Megan Kernan. Also survived by her brother, Warren (Joan) Cappel and her sister, Dora (Lester) Weber. Preceded in death by her husband of more than 30 years, Jerome Kernan and her younger brother, Daniel Cappel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said this Friday, May 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 3547 Clifton Avenue. Visitors may call on the family at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Betty cherished her years at Mother of Mercy High School.
