Eli Vires

VIRES, Eli, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born on December 22, 1944, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Richard and May (nee Hall) Vires.

Eli is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Charmaine A. Vires (nee Graton).

Loving father of Patti Webb, Ami (John) Beyer, and Rae Bieber.

Cherished Papaw of Jessika, Sula, Emmanuel, & Sadie Beyer, and Nathan, Skylar, & Nolan Bieber.

Dear brother of Betty (Barry) Turner, Mary (the late Frank) Fugate, Helen (William) Bowling, Dora (Harlan) Fugate, and Hurshell (Jane) Vires.

Brother-in-law of Sharon Vires.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Eli is preceded in passing by his dear son-in-law Jason Bieber, siblings Ollie Vires, Jalia (Reed) Combs, and Callie (Lee) Bowman.

Sophisticated isn't superior, educated isn't the same as smart, stubborn doesn't have to be bad, there's pride in being a provider, find a way to fix it, family relationships are complicated and always end a call with "Love you".

Visitation will be held on WEDNESDAY, March 18, 2026, at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on THURSDAY, March 19, 2026, B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, at 10:00 AM.

Graveside service to follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
