JEREMIAH, Edward S., Beloved husband of Shirley (Boehme) Jeremiah. Loving father of Ron Jeremiah, Joyce (Bill) Meyer. Devoted grandfather of Ron (Colleen) Jeremiah, Jennifer Moore, Joseph Jeremiah, Jeffrey Jeremiah, Michele (Shawn) Silvers, Michael (Kendra) Meyer, Christina (Josh) Ponath, Joel (Sydney) Meyer. Great grandchildren Kalie Meyer, Jacob Jeremiah, Kylee Jeremiah, Morgan Jeremiah, Mason Moore, Madi Silvers, Connor Moore, Aiden Jeremiah, Carter Silvers, Carson Silvers, Noelle Meyer, Sloane Meyer, Ezra Meyer and Amelia Ponath.
Ed grew up in Price Hill, Ohio attending Whittier School and Western Hills High School where he ran track, pitched for the baseball team and played trombone in the band. He was a member of Phi Delta Sigma fraternity. He enlisted in the Navy during his senior year in 1951 to serve on the U.S.S. Coral Sea Aircraft Carrier as an electronics technician. His best memories were meeting his high school sweetheart, Shirley, in English class at West High and marrying her in 1952. His career at Cincinnati Milacron as diagnostician allowed him to use his brilliant mind to problem solve for the company at home and abroad. He enjoyed teaching his grandchildren to play chess and poker and working on his own Cryptoquip puzzles and word searches. He could fix anything and was an electrician, plumber, mechanic, carpenter, hunter, fisherman and top notch golfer. He and Shirley attended their grandchildren and great grandchildrens' sporting and school events always ending with a smile and a hug. He was always willing to help his children Ron and Joyce with anything they needed no matter what the hour. Ed and Shirley always loved going out to eat, out to movies and enjoying music events together. He was well known for his witty humor and original sayings. His selfless and devoted care of others will be passed on for generations. He was a member of Price Hill Historical Society and Museum and St. Joseph Church in North Bend, Ohio.
Ed passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at the age of 88. Private Service at the convenience of the family.
