TAYLOR, Doris (nee Obert) of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully on Dec. 28 at the age of 94. Both elegant and outspoken, Doris was known for being a bright spirit. She navigated life with wit and tenacity and nursed numerous friends and family members throughout her years with incredible devotion. Even in her last days, her frank yet compassionate spirit shone through her battle with cancer. She will be incredibly missed. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret Obert; beloved wife of the late James F. Taylor; loving mother to Wayne N. Taylor and the late Ronald Nathan; caring step-mother of James, Brad and Bill Taylor, and Marsha Compton; dear sister to Peggy Plageman, Larry Obert and the late Joan Hoffman; beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, the cherished grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and a dear friend to countless individuals locally and across the country. A celebration of her life will be held at Holy Family Church, 814 Hawthorne Ave., Cincinnati, on Jan. 3, with visitation from 9-10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial Mass.
