Donald H. Flaherty

FLAHERTY, Donald H., born June 25, 1921, beloved husband of Sheila Flaherty (nee Duffy) of 63 years. Loving father of Donna (Arthur) Hurst of Louisville, Peggy (Marty) McTighe of Cincinnati, Rev. Kevin Flaherty S.J., who works in Lima, Peru and Pat (Paula) Flaherty of Cincinnati. Dear grandfather (Daddy Don) of Skipper, Jennifer and Elizabeth Hurst, Colleen, Katie, Meghan and Molly McTighe, Eileen, Kevin and Brian Flaherty. Preceeded in death by his brother Edward Flaherty and his sister Shirley (Bill) Parker. On Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at 83 years of age. He served in the Navy Air Sea Rescue during WWII. He retired from the Veterans Hospital of Cincinnati in 1981. He was loved and will be missed by family and all of his many friends for his love and gift of story telling.
