Dolores M. Stahl

STAHL, Dolores M. (nee Lichtenfeld), proud WWII veteran, died peacefully in her sleep at home, Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was 96. Loving wife of the late Robert J. Stahl. Amazing mother of Barbara Norton and her husband, Fred, and the late Robert W. Stahl. Survived by her devoted caregivers, Linda and Jerry Ellaback, by her favorite travel companion and niece, Nancy Alley, and her furry friends. Also survived by numerous additional nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, as well as Fred's family who adopted her as "Gramma Dee". Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Florence (nee Mannix) Lichtenfeld, and all of her siblings, John (Betty) Lichtenfeld, Dan (Anna) Lichtenfeld, Mary Margaret (Ralph) Alley, Mary Grace Lichtenfeld and Carey Lichtenfeld. Many thanks to her primary physicians, Dr. Sharon Sax and Dr. Jasmina Jovic (VA), for their endless time, service and wise counsel. Also many thanks to the staff at Bayley Adult Day, who for the last serval years made her life more interesting, stimulating and complete. Visitation will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5924 Bridgetown Road on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 9:30AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Internment will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
