Darrell E. Gum

GUM, Darrell E. Beloved husband of Tina L. Gum (Nee Weber) for 47 years. Loving father of Justin (Lauren) Gum. Devoted grandfather of Eliza, James and Millie. Dear brother of Patty (the late Lee) Hutto, Dean (Barb) Gum, Jeff (the late Beth) Gum and the late James Gum. Brother in law of Sheryl Gum, Andria (Rob) Richter. Cherished son in law of Elizabeth Weber and Gloria Weber. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 68 years of age.

Darrell was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. His greatest pride was his family, especially his three grandchildren. Darrell will be remembered for his kind heart and willingness to always lend a helping hand. His generosity, kindness, and selfless nature touched the lives of many, especially through his work at Brogan Oil, where he spent his career for over 50 years. Whether fixing something, lending a hand, or simply offering his time, Darrell always put others before himself. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of love and caring for others will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. 

Visitation on TUESDAY at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
