HENNIE, Dale P., beloved husband of Patricia A. Hennie (nee Merrill) for 53 years. Loving father of Maureen (Tom) Groll, Craig (Susan Robertson) and Brett Hennie. Devoted grandfather of Kevin, Kelsey, Megan and Eric. Dear brother of the late Roger Hennie and brother-in-law of Shirley Hennie. 37 year employee of Western & Southern, retiring as a Senior VP. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 76 years of age. Visitation MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Road, Friday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Xavier University and teaching history at Elder High School for a semester, Dale began his career with Western & Southern Life in 1963 as a Management Trainee. He held senior positions within the Company in both Insurance Operations and Information Technology. He retired in September of 2000 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

After his retirement, Dale was elected to the Board of Directors of National Integrity Life Insurance Company, a Western & Southern affiliate, and also served as Chairman of its Audit and Independent Directors Committee.

Dale also joined the Board of Cancer Family Care in 1999, a charitable organization which was close to his heart, where he served as both Board Vice President and President from 2002 to 2005.
