Sayler Park

BRINK, Craig A. Beloved husband of Juanita ‘Julie’ M. Brink (nee Sellers) for 31 years. Loving father of Cora (Colin) VandeRyt and Nathaniel Brink. Devoted grandfather of Heidi and Alice. Dear brother of Deborah (Robert) Houser, Nicole (Steve) Emmert, Raymond (Jaime) Brink, Victoria (Timothy) Tate, Sarah (Todd) Shreve and Eric (Patricia) Brink. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 55 years of age.

Craig was preceded in death by his loving parents James Brink and Karen (Alfieri) Brink. Craig began his career at the Cincinnati Water Works at the age of 18 and continued to work there for next 32 years until his retirement. Craig met his wife Julie when they were just 22 years old. They instantly hit it off and became inseparable. They were married for 31 years and raised two wonderful children together Cora and Nate.

Craig will be remembered most for his infectious smile and his warm welcoming personality, he truly never met a stranger. Craig was a huge Cincinnati sports fan. You could always find him watching the Reds or Bengals and doing his best to cheer them to victory. He had recently begun the annual tradition of traveling to Columbus with his daughter Cora and in-laws to grab dinner and attend a Blue Jacket game.

Above all, Craig was a family man. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his siblings, cousins, and friends. He loved watching his nieces, nephews and granddaughter play the sports they enjoyed. He especially loved watching his nephew Elliot play in the Special Olympic games. What Craig might have loved most of all, was spending time with his granddaughters. Whether it was simply picking Heidi up from school, taking her to practice, or playing in the backyard, Craig never missed an opportunity to spend with her. In 2023 Craig welcomed his second granddaughter, Alice. His instant love for her was apparent as he would look for reasons to watch her just to spend time with her. It was no surprise that one of her first words was “PaPa”. His family was his world and they will make sure he is never forgotten.
