SCHAFFER, Charles M., loving son of the late Charles H. And Margaret (nee Gilligan) Schaffer.  Dear brother of the late Martin J. Schaffer.  Brother-in-law of Patricia (nee Burke) Schaffer.  Devoted uncle of Christopher (Christa) and Matthew (Heather) Schaffer.  Great uncle of Joslyn, Benjamin, Lillian and Nicholas Schaffer.  Also survived by many other relatives and friends.  Passed away November 10, 2023, at the age of 79.  Charley was a maintenance worker at Cathedral Basilica of St Peter in Chains for over 40years.  He was also a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan.  Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 18^th, at 9:30AM at Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, 325 W. 8th Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, 100 Main Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 or Tender Mercies, 27 W. 12 Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
