Charles William Burrage

April 6, 1925 — January 4, 2003

BURRAGE, Charles "Bill", beloved husband of Ruth Burrage (nee Smith). Loving father of Patricia (Mark) Schweikert and Sally (Tom) Luebbe. Proud grandfather of Emili (Jason) Day, Grant, Matthew and Kristie. Loving brother of Gertrude (Burrage) Eyrich and the late Helen (Burrage) Howe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. At home on January 4, 2003 at 77 years of age. Veteran of US Army Air Corp 301st Bomb Group during WWII. Completed 26 successful missions as a gunner on the B17 flying fortress. In retirement fondly known as the "General" at Pebble Creek Golf Course. Avid golfer and gardener. Memorial Service St. James Episcopal Church Saturday, January 11, 2003, at 11:00AM. Inurnment with Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. Memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 3207 Montana Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45211. B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home serving the family.
