Charlene Anne Ramstetter

RAMSTETTER, Charlene Anne Beloved treasured daughter of the late Leonard and Gertrude (nee Herbert) Ramstetter. Dear sister of Mary Ramstetter and the late C. Joyce (Kenneth) Roedel, Leonard C. (Carol) Ramstetter and Thomas A. Ramstetter. Sister in law of W. Charlene Ramstetter. Cherished aunt of Lisa (Danny) Walsh, Lennessa Trent, Thomas L. Ramstetter, Anthony C. Ramstetter and great aunt of Craig M. Rohrer, Sean Snider, Trace (Hannah) Snider, William Trent, Honour Shantaya, Patience Shantaya and Thomas S. Ramstetter.

Charlene was beloved by her family and friends, especially her loving sister Mary, with whom she spent many years side-by-side through a life well spent.

She was a force for her faith throughout her life as a longtime member of St. Martin of Tours parish where she was a champion for the children of the parish as director of religious education and lector for many years. She was a graduate of the Athenaeum of Ohio lay pastoral ministry program. Her devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus served her well throughout a life of unwavering faith in the Lord.

Professionally, Charlene working for three decades at the University of Cincinnati in accounts payable.

“Aunt Char” was the fun aunt all her nieces and nephews wanted to sit next to at family gatherings, especially Christmas Eve. She was a fan of a good joke and even the bad ones if they came from a nephew or niece. Charlene loved Christmas lights, spending hours each December working to make her yard the brightest light in the neighborhood with the Holy Family at its center.

Charlene passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 83 years of age. 

Visitation at St. Martin on Tours, 3720 St. Martin’s Pl., on MONDAY, Dec 29, from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Martin of Tours Church, 3720 St. Martin Pl., Cincinnati, OH 45211.
