Carol Ann McClung of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Weston, WV passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 28,1940 in Weston, WV. Preceded in death by her:

Mom: Ernestine "Jenny" Marsh

Stepfather: Ernest "Boots" Marsh

Father: Homer Arnold Wyant

Brother: Kenneth Dale Wyant

Brother: Dennis Lee Wyant

Infant Daughter: Vickie Rae McClung

She was married to Lawrence "Ray" McClung, who preceded her in death on June 2, 1987. She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Ann Carey (Todd) of Cincinnati, Ohio and her son Lawrence Ray" Chip" McClung Jr of Scottsdale, PA.,  four grandchildren: Ashley Stegeman (Tony), Courtney Carey (Jon Acton), Zackary Carey (Meredith), Ryan McClung (Samantha) and six great grandchildren: Leonidas, Knox, Xander, Quinn, Ryan, Caius and one on the way.

Carol was a delightful lady and a friend to everyone. She spent many years employed by the Weston State Hospital working in the lab as a phlebotomist.

She was an avid fan of The Young and the Restless, never missing an episode. Bingo was one of her favorite pastimes as well as water aerobics. Carol was Christian by faith and as she journeys to her eternal rest, we are comforted by the words of the Bible in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

The family would like to extend special thanks to Harmony Hospice especially Delilah and Cheyanna, the Staff of Dedicated Senior Health Center, Dr. Dori ThompsonMegyn and Nathan who always brought a smile to her face, Colerain Senior Center, Broad Street United Methodist Church in Weston and her friends at Atlee Community Church.

Carol's wish for cremation has been honored by Meyer Funeral Home in Cincinnati, OH. A private  service will be held in Weston, WV  at a later date.
