Carmella Telli

TELLI, Carmella M. "Millie" (nee Farruggia), 93, died on Saturday, June 30, 2018, in a Chicago nursing home with her family by her side. Mrs. Telli was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Anthony J. Telli, her parents, Gerlanda and Girolamo Farruggia, her brother, Frank Farruggia, and her sister, Terry Sena. She retired after many years working as a cashier at the Kroger store in Western Hills Plaza. Survivors include: her children, Jerome (Brenda) Telli of Starke, FL, Christine Telli of Chicago, Andrew (Suzette) Telli of Hendersonville, TN, Daniel (Gina) Telli of Lawrenceville, GA, and John (Andrea) Telli of Chicago; grandchildren, Joni Telli, Wendy Matthews, Carmelina Hines, Gemma Matrille, Anthony Telli, Gabriella Telli, Joseph Telli and Jacob Telli; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 8:30-10:30 AM Saturday, July 7, at B.J. Meyer and Sons Overlook Memorial Center, 4841 Glenway Avenue (next to St. Teresa Church), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church.
