KEMPER, Bonita “Bonnie” Sue, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on July 10, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on October 15, 1948, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Paul Daunt and Norma Rosella (nee Schrand) Kemper.
Bonnie is survived by her loving and strong daughter Sara (Mike) Jewell.
Beloved grandmother of Logan, her light and her joy.
Cherished longtime companion of Jim Wilson and treasured by his daughter Elisabeth (John) Gallagher, and their son Wilson.
She is also survived by many cousins, other family members, and dear friends.
Bonnie is preceded in passing by her dear brother Doug Kemper, and her parents, and many cherished friends.
Bonnie was an excellent nurse for 47 years, serving Good Samaritan Hospital patients with tender care. She cooked delicious meals for her family, loved to travel the world, spend time at the pool, enjoy good music (especially the Moody Blues), hike, fish, gardening, camp, and explore.
Her friends were great treasures that meant the world to her. She was a proud graduate of Seton High School Class of ‘66, and Good Samaritan School of Nursing Class of 1970.
She took great care of many dogs over the years, like Tuffy, Molly, Max, Hunter, and Angel, and a bird named Bart.
She was a beautiful woman with impeccable manners who modeled kindness and love to the world.
Visitation will be held at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home,5864 Bridgetown Rd, on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. William Church, 4108 W 8th St, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
