BURKE, Betty Lou (nee Hudepohl), beloved wife of Edward A. Burke for over 65 years. Loving mother of Patricia (Martin) Schaffer, Pamela (John) Herman, Jennifer (Gregory) Schmidt, Jayne Snelling and the late James Burke. Devoted grandmother of Chris (Christa) Schaffer, Matt (Joni) Schaffer, Tom Herman, Julie (Brian) Mullen, Jim (Carolyn) Herman, Amy (Ed) Crotty, Sarah (Brian) Bolan, Adam (Jen) Schmidt, Michael (Carla) Snelling, Eric Snelling, Rachel (Eric) Ortman, David Snelling and Lindsay Snelling and great grandmother of 15. Dear sister of the late Mary Jane (Walter) Latscha and Louis B Hudepohl Jr. and sister-in-law of Mary Ann Hudepohl and Dr. Robert Burke. Devoted aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Betty Lou was a former member of Book Lovers Club, Mother's Club and Mardi Gras Committee of Xavier University and she also belonged to numerous Bridge Clubs. Passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at 91 years of age. Visitation MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Road, on Friday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.
