Anthony J Mancini, Jr.

MANCINI, Anthony J. Jr. (Mooney), beloved husband of Laura S. Mancini (nee Stohlman) for 25 years.  Loving father of Karly, Megan, and AJ.  Devoted son of Emily Mancini (Mike Gausepohl) and the late Anthony J. Mancini Sr. and son-in-law of Tish and the late Bob Stohlman.  Dear brother of Christina (Brian) Finkelmeier and brother-in-law of Robb (Natalie) Stohlman and Heather (Freddie) Prewitt.  Cherished uncle of Gus and Beau Finkelmeier, Ella and Robert Stohlman, Katrina and Carson Prewitt.  Also survived by many other family and friends.  Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the age of 48. 

Tony was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio; he became a Blackhawk at St. Dominic for grade school and graduated from Elder High School as a lifelong Panther who bled purple on Fridays.  As an enormous Buckeye fan, he also bled scarlet and gray on Saturdays. He was a soccer enthusiast who coached for many years. Tony was a dedicated Realtor for both Cagney Weisker and Coldwell Banker.  During his spare time, Tony was an avid golfer, a Hilton Head traveler, and a film connoisseur.  He was a giver of wonderful advice and a provider of endless laughter. We remember him as a wise, animated entertainer with a witty sense of humor. Tony also loved literature, random trivia and all things historical. He was a Foo Fighters fanatic. Tony was a faithful friend and trusted confidant to so many.

The mass will be celebrated Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11am at St. John the Baptist Church, 5361 Dry Ridge Road.   The family will greet friends and family starting at 10am in church prior to mass.  A Celebration of Life will be immediately following mass at Pebble Creek Golf Course and Event Center.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elder HS Class of 92 Scholarship Fund, Elder High School 3900 Vincent Ave Cincinnati, OH 45205.  B.J.
