Albert C. Niedhamer

NIEDHAMER, Dr. Albert C. Beloved husband of Ruth F. Niedhamer (née Fornefeld) for 63 years. Loving father of Mary Beth (the late Gary) Gramann, Carole Ann (Chuck) Yeazell, Ellen (David) Meiering and Laura Niedhamer. Devoted grandfather of Sharon (Chase) Biehl, Ryan and Evan Yeazell, Amanda and Mark Meiering and great grandfather of Sawyer Biehl. Dear brother of Mary Ann (the late Charles) Deye. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 87 years of age. Albert was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, and Ohio State University Dental School. He served in the Army as a Captain and was stationed at Walter Reed Hospital, and Fort Benjamin Harrison. As a third generation dentist, he practiced in Western Hills for 38 years. He was a member of the Cincinnati Dental Society serving as President from 1974-1975. He was awarded the Ohio Dental Association Achievement Award in 1993, and the Cincinnati Dental Society Meritorious Service Award in 1999. He was an active member of St. Antoninus parish for over 50 years serving as an usher and president of the Adult Social Group. Visitation on FRIDAY at MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on SATURDAY at St. Antoninus Church, at 10:30 AM.
